Night at the nightclub || Raina & Sanjana

reckless-raina:

Sanjana was undoubtedly pulling her leg yet Raina didn’t realise. When she did however, it was hard to distinguish whether she laughed or she shrieked. A bit of both, she did that when she was excited. Over excited. Raina breathed a sigh of relief when Sanjana changed the song. It was catchy and upbeat. It didn’t take long for Raina to begin grooving to the music, side to side. “I like it!” She giggled. “Very precise aren’t you, Sanjana.” Her laugh trilled through the car and she pressed the button for the window to slide down, revealing the fresh air. Raina led her head out through the window slowly. She closed her eyes as the wind hit her face and let herself be lost in that.

A few moments later, she realised she was being rude to Sanjana and pulled back. “Ek second, watch this” she grinned at the girl in the driver’s seat. Raina forwarded the radio stations and waited for a song to blast out of her mind. Chammak Challo. She winked at Sanjana and turned the volume up. In a flash, she pulled her head through the window again and started singing along to the song, smiling and waving at bystanders. Raina seductively bit her lip at a guy she saw trying to act ‘cool.’ She watched as he got up, entranced by her. The laughter that escaped her mouth was a taunting one. She flipped her head around to face Sanjana again, “What a despo” referring to the guy.

Sanjana knew Raina would like the song. It showed that they both had almost the same taste in songs. Himesh Reshamiya was a no go and Subha hone na de was surely a yes go. She started to sing a long with the song and looked at Raina. “Tu meri hero oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.” The girl who was driving, sang to Raina. Not that she really saved her from a “jaan lene wali” situation but she saw Raina as one of her closest friends here. After a while, Sanjana changed the radio and the song Piya o re piya was blasting through the speakers. “I like this song so much, romantic na? Genelia and Riteish are so cute together.” She said excited, she couldn’t wait to see their movie. “Piyaaaaa o re piyaaaa.” Sanjana sang laughing.

“Yes, I’m very precise. Zindagi kafi hatke jeeti hoon.” Sanjana confessed as she laughed. The song Chammak Challo filled the car with melodious tunes as Sanjana whispered the song along. The song was like perfection to her, although the music video of it was a bit disappointing. Still, the song was too good. Following Raina’s every move, Sanjana started laughing when Raina labelled the guy as a despo, while she nodded. “I think he really wants you.”

Sanjana stopped the car and walked out off the car, running towards the guy. “Hi, I’m doctor Bhardwaj, I mean Sanjana. I see you looking at my friend there.” She said while she pointed at Raina who was in the car. “Chance maarni hai?”

Hello

Night at the nightclub || Raina & Sanjana

reckless-raina:

“How amazing!” Raina lauded Sanjana’s poetry. She wasn’t sure if she was doing it right, but she thought something was better than nothing after all. Raina leaned forward from the seat abruptly. “Him?” Her eyes widened at the mention of the singer. It wasn’t apparent to people who the owner was since the club was knew, but this information left her startled. Raina narrowed her eyes in suspicion, “Are you pulling one on me…Sanjana?” she quipped.

Raina covered her ears quickly at the sound of the music. “Tandoori Nights? Iss se bura kuch nahin tha mere kaan burst karne ke liye!” She winced at the song, it was silly but she couldn’t stand it. Funny how she agreed to go to a club of the same name. Raina waited for Sanjana to turn it down or change the song, and looked out of the window, hands firm on her ears. “How long until we’re there, babe?” She said, louder than intended.

“Of course he isn’t the owner. I was just joking yaar. Besides, I would kill him if I ever saw him around here. He’s so dramatic.” Sanjana said laughing. She used to see him on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa where he was a mentor and judge in and the girl always wondered where he got the energy from to be so dramatic and energetic and how much bullshit one person could say. “Yup, I am.” Sanjana said laughing again.

Raina’s joke made her laugh really hard. “Ok, next station. Radio Mirchi.” Subha hone na de was blasting out off the speakers and while riding, Sanjana was moving to the music. She loved the song, it made her feel so happy and full of life. Besides, she loved the tune. Looking over at Raina, the girl smiled. “I hope you like this song. We’re there in 2 minutes and 45 seconds.”

I guess introductions are in order.

aditya-raj-kapoor:

I will do. I think our paths will cross quite often, due to the stuff happening in and around this city. Thank you, but I’ve got to monitor a few clubs and that - see how things are running. So no sleep tonight, I guess…

Well as I know I haven’t heard a lot of problems going on. I think it’s better I don’t know about it though. Opho, I’m so buddhu na sometimes, you are right. You have your duty, sorry ahah. Good luck with that, as if I were you I would fall down because of tiredness.

aditya-raj-kapoor:

A doctor? Nice - that’s a good profession. I just moved here; I’m the uh..new commissioner and a little tired at the moment. Nevertheless, I’ll put that aside.

Thanks, so if you ever need help in these kind of things, be sure to call me. Welcome to Mumbai, Aditya. Police officer? Bachke rehna padega mere ko, haha no just kidding. Aww, take a nap otherwise.

Hello there, Sanjana. Its a pleasure to meet you too. So tell me…have you been living in Mumbai for long?

Nope, for less then a year. I’m a doctor at Warsh Hospital. What about you?
